About Us

I have been an avid sewer since I was a little girl. I loved designing my Barbie Doll clothes. I would use left over materials from anything my mother gave me. I had fur for the collar of the coats and bottom of tight fitting dresses. I also used felt for the coats or anything else I could find. My Mother taught me the basics of how to sew by hand. In no time I read the instructions on the patterns and away I went. I was home a lot due to hip surgeries, so I had lots of time alone.

Now I have a Granddaughter, Alie, age 15 and my Daughter, Tara. She recently married and moved to Arizona. I miss them so much I have to keep busy doing something. I still have plenty of creativity and energy in me and I can't say it too many times, but I love to sew.

I have done all the home decorating I can possibly find to do. I made window treatments throughout my house; even one above my bed where there is no window. I have also covered all the pads on my patio furniture. I have made throw pillows and dog beds. Yes, I had to find something new. When my Daughter told me "I love these Mom, everywhere Alie and I go wearing our matching Wraps we get compliments. Why don't you make them and sell them?" I originally began making them last summer when Alie was here for a few months. I needed something more to do, so I said, "Let's give it a try".
